To book a reservation with CT Outdoor Adventures, you can either send an email or call to reserve your spot. A $200 deposit is required to secure your booking, which can be made through a credit card or personal check.

Please note that CT Outdoor Adventures reserves the right to modify the fishing locations or trip times if conditions are deemed unsafe due to weather, water conditions, or other factors beyond our control. In the event that we need to cancel due to such circumstances, our guests will have the option to receive a full refund or reschedule their trip within the next 12 months, at their convenience.

Do I need experience?

No. During the fishing trip, our skilled guide will provide you with a comprehensive overview of river fishing. This includes casting techniques, selecting the appropriate lure, and following proper sportsman etiquette. Additionally, our guide will teach you essential water reading skills and ensure your safety in and around the water. You will also learn basic knot techniques to help you with your fishing endeavors.

Do I need a fishing license?

Yes, if your intention is to fish, you will require a license. However, if you do not intend to fish, a license is not necessary. To acquire a fishing license, you can refer to Fishing License Information & Fees | Virginia DWR to obtain a fishing license.

Do I have to fish?

No. Even if you don't fish, you can still have a delightful experience on the water. With the help of your guide, you can explore the most picturesque parts of the river. Your guide can point out the different types of wildlife in and around the river. This can include birds, mammals, reptiles, and insects. If you like to swim, your guide can show you popular spots for swimming.

What is the minimum age requirement?

We uphold a minimum age requirement of six years old

What is your cancellation policy?

CT Outdoor Adventures retains the right to modify fishing activities or trip schedules in response to hazardous weather, water conditions, or other uncontrollable circumstances. In the event of such conditions or circumstances, our guests can choose between a complete reimbursement or the option to reschedule the trip for a more suitable time within the next 12 months.

To secure a reservation, CT Outdoor Adventures mandates a $200 deposit payment.

For a complete reimbursement on all trips, we require a notice of at least 14 days. If you do not provide a 14-day notice, your deposit cannot be refunded.
